Worldwide aftermarket provider, AAR has teamed up with the US Air Force to provide a support system for their landing gear. The official program that has been agreed upon is known as the Landing Gear Performance – Based Logistics One Program. With the agreement, AAR will be responsible to work hand in hand with the US AIR FORCE to better prime aspects of the Air Force’s operations. Departments such as distribution, inventory control, purchasing and distribution along with many others to help enhance their entire supply chain. Three of the US Air forces fleets will be renovated in the Landing Gear and repair and overhaul center that is currently located in Miami, Florida.
Executive work and inventory will be managed through AAR and will be taken care of at AAR facilities located in Ogden, Utah and Wood Dale, Illinois.
